Arusha is a beautiful city that encapsulates the culture and history of Tanzania. It is home to many indigenous tribes, over 100 different nationalities, and a fantastic city with a remarkable life ranging from the bustling food markets, unique cafes, and historical museums. Arusha is also known for its scenic backdrop of the towering Mt. Kilimanjaro. Furthermore, Arusha is also known for Tanzanite, one of Tanzania’s valuable exports. Arusha National Park

Located at a 40-minute drive from Arusha, the Arusha National Park is the perfect day trip safari. You will experience different wildlife and plants. It also covers Mt. Meru, and you can also see the picturesque Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. The Arusha National Park is also home to the Colobus Monkeys, a rare species found in this region. Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is another national park close to Arusha where you can explore a vast array of wildlife, including gazelles, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, impalas, and many other exotic species. The park is located 150 km from Arusha and is perfect for visiting between July and November. During the peak scene, over 250,000 animals gather at this park. The park is also considered the sixth largest park in Tanzania. The park covers 2,600 sq. km. of land.  

Mt. Kilimanjaro Day Trip
