  1. Observe tree-climbing lions in Lake Manyara National Park

You heard it right! Ever heard of lions that climb trees? Well, you’ll get to witness these exceptional lions here at Lake Manyara National Park! So, why do these lions climb trees in the Park? Here are two theories:

  • The lions climb the trees to get some cool breeze. It can get pretty hot in the Park and they want an escape from the scorching heat.
  • The lions can observe their prey better from the top of the trees, so they climb the trees and look for their prey.

Not only is Lake Manyara National Park famous for its tree-climbing lions, but the Lake itself is home to a huge population of flamingoes that give the water a pinkish hue.

  1. Enjoy thrilling watersports activities in Zanzibar
