Gaddafi Mosque, also called the National Mosque, is the largest mosque in Tanzania. The architecture of the mosque is stunning and its interior is magnificent.

The Kondoa Irangi Rock Caves are a cluster of caves located about 9 km away from the main city. the caves are home to the Kondoa Irangi Rock Paintings, which are believed to be paintings that are over 50,000 years old! There are about 100-400 of these paintings in the area, and some are yet to be discovered, according to experts. After taking a tour of the caves, you can head over to the local village and interact with the locals there.

Lion Rock, also called Simba Hill, has a beautiful top that you can trek up to. The trek is steep and challenging, so make sure you’re up for the task!

Reaching the top is worth it because you get to see stunning views of the entire city of Dodoma.

Dodoma Skate Park is a huge concrete skate park covering an area of about 500 square feet. It’s contains skating rinks for all difficulty levels and is a must visit if you’re interested in skating!

Dodoma Skate Park is the only skate park in Tanzania and over 200 skateboarders come here to practice regularly. 

 

  1. Have some food at Aladdin’s Cave or Krose’s Café
