Tropical Vacation Safety Tips

Although a tropical vacation is all fun and games, you need to take a few safety steps as well to make sure your vacation doesn’t turn into a regretful decision.

  • Always make sure you have mosquito repellant on all the exposed areas of your body when you’re in a tropical area. Mosquito bites can transmit malaria and dengue, among other diseases. You should also use mosquito nets at night while sleeping.
  • Make sure you’re vaccinated against typhoid and other diseases that are usually present in tropical areas.
  • Always wear SPF 50+ sunscreen when traveling to a tropical area. You get more direct sun exposure in those areas which could result in sunburns.
  • Keep a raincoat with you.
  • Make sure you dress modestly while you’re in Tanzania. It’s a Muslim country so you should keep yourself covered at all times. Don’t wear bikinis or miniskirts. Moreover, try wearing full length dresses that aren’t sleeveless.

These are just a few tropical vacation safety tips that will help you have a fun and safe vacation.
