Zanzibar is a picturesque island off the coast of Tanzania. Zanzibar offers some fantastic opportunities for travelers, ranging from shopping in the architectural Stone Town to relaxing on the sandy, white beaches. Zanzibar also has some of the best diving spots in the region. One of the most extraordinary things is that you can dive throughout the year, with water temperatures averaging 27 degrees Celsius with visibility ranging from 20 to 60 meters.   1. Leven Bank

Leven Bank is considered one of the best diving spots in Zanzibar, with a depth ranging from 12 to 55 meters. It has scenic underwater mountains, and you will get to explore an exotic range of marine life, including whitetip reef sharks, rainbow runners, barracudas, honeycomb moray eels, and many others. 

  1. Nankivell & Hunga Reef

Nankivell and Hunga Reef dive spots are for intermediate divers. Although it is a shallower region, it has a diverse ecosystem of bommies, colorful corals, and captivating views. You will find barracudas, snappers, reef sharks, lobsters, and plenty of other marine life at these spots.
