March and April: This is the middle of the wet season and this is a time of the year when there is almost no one in the park. You can expect to have some rain showers, they are sharp though and they do not last for a long time. This is also the time of the year when there is a migratory bird species. This is a very large draw for those who love to see birds.
Ngorongoro National Park
June to October: This is considered the best time to visit the park because the temperatures are cooler and there is less chance of rain. The lack of rain ensures that there is going to be better visibility, and that means that the animals are going to be easier to spot. The thing to keep in mind though is that there are going to be many people here at this time of year.
November to May: This is the time of year that is not crowded, it is a great time to see animals.
March, April, May: When the rain gets heavier, it is important to be at a good lodge. During this time, there is a large group of birds that are migratory that are an amazing spectrum of color. Generally, there is also game that is more spread out because of all the vegetation. During the wet season even, there are not a lot of places that can compete with the environment and the game.
Selous Game Reserve
June to November: This is a great time of the year for seeing the wild dogs and big cats which frequent the area. The animals are easy to see in this time of year because they are looking for water.
June to August: These months are the best times to see many of the most endangered species.
March to May: This is the time of year that leads to the most rainfall and that means that you may not have as many choices in your staying options, there are many places to check out the birds.
Zanzibar
The islands are best experienced from June to October. This is the time of the year when the weather is cool as well as dry. In addition to that, this is the time of year with great water clarity.
