Paje Beach, Zanzibar

By now, you must be thinking that we should rename this to the top five beaches in Zanzibar. That is the beauty of Zanzibar. The beaches are so spectacular that we have to dedicate the top three places to the island. Paje is another beautiful place on the east coast. The white sandy beaches, calm tides, and picturesque views. One of the best things about Paje Beach is kitesurfing. Although Paje Beach is quieter than Kendwa and Nungwi, the beach still has an exciting atmosphere. You can also witness the locals making soap from the seaweed collected from the beach.

Sange Beach, Pangani

Taking a step away from Zanzibar, we head over to Pangani, a seculeded and remote location. However, be aware that reaching Sange Beach will be a challenge. The tracks that lead to the location are rigid, and it can be a vigorous ride. However, it is definitely worth the challenge because Sange Beach is a hidden gem in Tanzania. The white sandy beach is situated between Saadani National Park and Pangani.

Misali Island beach, Pemba

Heading back towards Zanzibar, we steer off to Pemba Island. Misali Island is situated in the Southwest. It is an isolated location and the perfect paradise for beach lovers that want to lie back and enjoy the sounds of the crashing tides while enjoying sunbathing and relaxing. Pemba Island itself is very quiet in comparison to the other locations in Tanzania. It is a lesser-traveled location, and it is the perfect escape if you want to get away from the crowds.
